Friendly Reminders
  • Bidwell Bark is a family friendly event.
  • Only bring dogs who are fully vaccinated.
  • Ensure your dog is wearing a current ID and license tags.
  • No retractable leashes!
  • Keep your dog on a six-foot or shorter leash at all times.
  • Don’t forget to clean up after your dog – poop bag stations will be onsite.
  • Leave dogs with questionable or unmanageable behavior at home.

How do I log in to my Personal Page once I’ve registered?
Once you register, you will be sent an email confirmation. In that email, there is a link to your personal page. At your first login, be sure to bookmark the page so you can easily navigate back to it. Once logged-in, click on the “manage” button next to your Personal or Team pages.

 

Does my dog need to be vaccinated to attend the event with me?
Yes. For everyone’s health and safety, it is a requirement that your dog be current on all of his/her vaccinations.

 

May I walk with an animal other than a dog?
No. Unfortunately, City regulations prevent animals other than canines from attending the event.

 

When/Where is the Bidwell Bark?
Bidwell Bark is Saturday, April 8th, 2017, at Sycamore Field in Bidwell Park. Registration kicks off at 7:30 a.m.

 

Can I register the day of the event?
Absolutely. Registration begins at 7:30 am the day of the event. Same-day registration is $30 per person.

 

Can I pick up my registration packet prior to the event?
Yes, we highly suggest that you do!  You can pick up your registration packet, t-shirts and other information at the Butte Humane Society’s Administration Office (2580 Fair Street) between the hours of 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday, April 7th. You’ll even get a complimentary raffle ticket for picking your packet up early!

 

Can I bring my children?
Yes! The event wouldn’t be the same without them! We will have a Kid Fun Zone at the festival just for them. Registration for children ages 5 to 12 is $15, children ages 4 and under are FREE.

 

May I walk with a stroller?
Yes, strollers are allowed.

 

Where do I register for the contests? How much do they cost?
There will be a clearly marked area near the Activity Ring at Bidwell Bark where you can sign up for the contests and games ($5 per person/animal).

 

How do I track the offline donations I collect?
Download & print the Donation Tracking Form. Collect donations in the form of cash or checks made out to Butte Humane Society. Offline gifts must be turned into BHS for the gifts to show up on your personal page fundraising efforts (for returning participants, this is different than in past years)! Turn in your donations with the Donation Tracking Form every Wednesday at the BHS Administration Office, 2580 Fair Street in Chico.
