Thank you for your interest in the 2021 Bidwell Bark, originally scheduled for May 8th, 2021.

We are saddened to announce that Bidwell Bark will not be held this year. We know many in our community look forward to this annual event and would like to extend our appreciation for your past and future support.

This decision was made after much consideration between Butte Humane Society’s Board of Directors, Staff, Volunteers, and with input from the City of Chico. While we are hopeful that events will once again become commonplace, we have decided that a large festival would not be safe and responsible at this time.

Though we aren’t holding Bidwell Bark, our staff and volunteers are excitedly planning our Grand Opening celebration – tentatively scheduled for August 2021.  The celebration will mark the end of The Journey Home, the fundraiser to build our new facility!
